Risky Foods: Traveling Tips
November 24, 2009Many people say about street food could be true. It is difficult to keep food clean on the street. And have many people get sick from bought from street vendors. Otherwise typhoid fever, avoiding “risky foods” will also help protect you from other infectious diseses such as travelers diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, and hepatitis A. A good thing to do before eating on travel is ” Boil it, cook it, peel it, or forget it”.
Traveling tips
–> Drink only bottled water boiling water for a few minutes before storing.
–> While brushing your teeth use boiled water.
–> Drink water w/o ice. Make sure that the ice is made from boiled water.
–> Avoid popsicles and icy treats
–> Eat food that cooked on the spot.
–> avoid raw vegetables.
–> Dont eat fruits that cannot be peeled.
–> Avoid foods and beverages from street vendors and other areas where files are commonly observed.
